לב לבייב ידוע בחוגים עסקיים כאיש עסקים מצליח, ראש חברת "אפריקה ישראל השקעות" ואחזקות "אפריקה ישראל פיתוח". עוסק בבניית נדל'ן למגורים ומסחר, השקעות בנכסים שונים - ממטבעות קריפטוגרפיים ועד לתעשיית האופנה. בנוסף, הוא איש ציבור ידוע - מייסד כמה קרנות צדקה, נשיא הקונגרס העולמי של יהודי בוכרה. הפרויקטים ההומניטריים של לב לבייב ומשפחתו חובקים את כל העולם. הוא עוזר לקהילות יהודיות בארצות הברית, ברוסיה, במרחב חבר העמים מאוזבקיסטן ועד למדינות הבלטיות.
