במסגרת תוכנית לתשתיות לאומיות, תת"ל 13, מתוכנן על ידי מע"צ החברה הלאומית לדרכים, הקמת מחלף חדש המתפרס על שטח נרחב בצומת יגור. ברשות נחל הקישון מציינים כי למחלף השפעות סביבתיות שליליות על מרחב הנחל המחבר את רכס הכרמל לגבעות אלונים שפרעם. ביניהן, קרבתו של הכביש לנחל קישון וכן התשטיפים הצפויים להתנקז מהכביש לנחל באיזור רגיש זה

המשרד להגנת הסביבה פרסם היום את רשימת הזוכים בפרס השר להגנת הסביבה למצוינות סביבתית 2010. השר להגנת הסביבה, גלעד ארדן: "הזוכים בפרס מהווים מופת להתנהגות אחראית כלפי הסביבה שעל כולנו לאמץ". טקס פרס השר להגנת הסביבה למצוינות סביבתית יתקיים זו הפעם הראשונה, בבית הנשיא בירושלים ביום ד' הקרוב, ה-2.6
