המחאה הפורסות את זרועותיה ברחבי הארץ הביאה את ועדת הכספים של הכנסת להתכנס היום (שני) לדיון דחוף בסוגיית המדיניות הכלכלית והחברתית של הממשלה. הישיבה התקיימה במשרד ראש הממשלה, בהשתתפותם של ראש ממשלת ישראל בנימין נתניהו, מנכ"ל משרד ראש הממשלה איל גבאי, יו"ר הכנסת ראובן ריבלין וכל חברי ועדת הכספים
