1. חוגגים עצמאות במלון כפר גלעדי

במלון כפר גלעדי שבגליל העליון החלו ההכנות לקראת חגיגות יום העצמאות ה-64 למדינת ישראל, שיחול השנה בתאריכים 25-26.04.12. לפנות ערב, יוזמנו אורחי המלון להשתתף בטקס סיום יום הזכרון לחללי מערכות ישראל ונפגעי פעולות האיבה, שיתקיים סמוך לחדר האוכל של הקיבוץ. לאחר הטקס יפתחו רשמית חגיגות יום העצמאות במופע זיקוקי דינור. מסיבת העצמאות תכלול ערב משחקים וריקודים לכל המשפחה עם תקליטן במדשאה שבמרכז המלון

כנס ודיון ציבורי בנושא שיקום נחל הקישון התקיים ביום חמישי האחרון במוזיאון חיפה. בכנס, שנערך במעמד השר להגנת הסביבה, חה"כ גלעד ארדן, השתתפו כ-200 איש בהם ראש עיריית חיפה יונה יהב, מ"מ יו"ר המינהלת הבינמשרדית, מנכ"ל רשות נחל הקישון, שרון ניסים ויו"ר התאחדות התעשיינים בצפון מיקי שרן.יו"ר התאחדות התעשיינים בצפון מיקי שרן שהיה בין משתתפי הכנס, שהתקיים במעמד השר להגנת הסביבה, ציין את חשיבות שותפות המפעלים בדרך להצלחת הפרויקט החשוב: "אני מאמין כי רק שיתופי פעולה מסוג זה יאפשרו מתן מענה מהיר ויעיל להסדרת בעיות סביבתיות"
